2,300 Acres of Smooth Water

Okamanpeedan Lake spans 2,300 acres across the Iowa-Minnesota State Border. The lake is also known as “Tuttle” Lake, in respect of Calvin Tuttle who first settled on the lake in the 1850s.

The land surrounding the lake is generally flat and utilized as farmland. It is only 20 miles from Estherville, a town with schools, restaurants, and shops.

Sioux Falls is approximately 120 miles west of the lake. It includes the Sioux Falls Regional Airport and Sanford USD Hospital.

Peaceful Waterfront Living
