Location

Located in the upper peninsula of Michigan, Menominee features great views of Lake Michigan providing opportunities to explore outdoor recreations along with a marina surrounded by many shops and dining options within walking distance.

Outdoor Recreation

Boaters are offered a two-lane boat launch to cruise around Lake Michigan with a daily use dockage, and fishermen can get many catches of fish like bluegill, walleye, and bass.

The Lighthouse Ann Arbor Park provides public river access where there is a double boat ramp, parking area, and a walkway to the lighthouse pier which is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

John Henes Park is located on the northeastern part of Menominee featuring a 2,600 feet water frontage with recreational activities such as swimming, walking, sightseeing, biking, fishing, and more. The park holds three partially enclosed pavilions that require reservations.

During the summer, the Marina/Historic Waterfront Downtown Districts host ‘Concerts In The Park’ presented at the Menominee Band Shell. It offers numerous parks to visit and enjoy, as well as several golf courses. They host many events throughout the year that the community loves including celebrations of different holidays.
